In the 'site' folder of your Secretary installation is a file called //htaccess.txt//. Move this file to the location of your website and rename it to '.htaccess'. Next, go to the Settings panel (Dashboard - Site Settings & Preferences) and check the 'Clean URLs' box under the //Site Settings// heading. Click save.
